THE LOST BODY OF NOTHING (II)
Stereophonic Electroacoustic Music
Total duration: 76 minutes
Composed by Stace Constantinou in August 2013
There are four pieces on the album. Each is a reflection of the other. Like an endless mirror reflection on an imagine in another mirror, this album portrays inner dimensions, as they consider the outer dimensions, as they are realised by the inner dimensions, as they unfold over the vastness of space-time. It's been composed in response to 'THE LOST BODY OF NOTHING (I)' (the first album in this series).
Here, the musical material consists of recorded cello strings, as with the first album, but this time no sine waves have been used. Instead, a male human voice (my own) has been added. Only a light touch of reverb has been used. But the material is over-layed on top of itself, and reversed, then over-layed again, many, many times.
Various mystical intervallic-ratio proportions have been applied to the creation of the nuanced, and shifting harmonies.
